Biography
Monique Pitzer was born and raised in Schwerte, Germany. From birth she had to deal with a disability called albinism. Sometimes, this led to struggles, but she always managed to find her way. However, after finishing high school, she decided to go to Australia for the very first time. Travelling alone, she decided to settle in Sydney and enroll in a language school to improve her English speaking abilities.

After nine months in Sydney, she returned to Germany to enroll in University, there she studied English and mainly focused on literature. Her minor subject was German. During her studies, she left Germany again, to study one semester abroad at James Cook University in Townsville, Australia. After that semester, she returned to Germany, to finish her Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

As soon, as she had her Bachelor of Arts degree in hands, she decided to go back to Australia. She returned on a Working Holiday Visa, traveled and worked for a year. Especially the time she spent working on a farm in Coolah was very inspirational. At the end of her stay, she met her partner Aidan, with whom she is now in a de facto relationship.

Currently Monique is living with her partner in Bateau Bay, on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. She has her own business (Monique Pitzer (MP)) and writes on her next novels.
