Little Lovely Things: A Novel by Maureen Joyce Connolly

Little Lovely Things: A Novel

by Maureen Joyce Connolly

Prepare to be riveted.

A new voice on the fiction scene, Maureen Joyce Connolly brings the smart suspense of a Gillian Flynn novel combined with the sharp focus of Liane Moriarity. When doctor-in-training, wife and mother, Claire Rawlings suffers from a life-threatening reaction while speeding down the highway, she must pull herself and her two girls to safety. She barely makes it before passing out cold. She awakens to an empty car - her girls have vanished. The page-turning story that follows the abduction will steal your breath and your heart.

“A story of strength and perseverance even through the most unspeakable situations” -- NY Journal of Books

“Connolly’s lyrical writing style and the fast-paced narrative draw in the reader right away. This is a riveting novel bolstered by its flawed, believable characters.” -- Publishers Weekly

“Debut author Connolly’s poetic sensibility shines through the prose in scenes that shimmer with emotion...hope is present throughout, a beacon carrying the reader to the final pages." -- Booklist
