Preparing for an exciting event is usually always fun, but it sure can be a lot of hard work! If you think it takes a lot to plan and prepare for a birthday party, can you imagine how much effort your Mom must have put towards preparing for your arrival to this world?

From trips to the hospital to special breathing classes, toy shops to baby-goods stores, paint shops to material sellers; your mother walked the extra mile to create the most special space for you when you were born.

This inspiring story helps children to learn that their being born was a very special event, one that required months of preparation. Once they understand just how much effort was put towards their arrival, they will begin to understand how much they really mean to their Moms.

Wonderfully illustrated, the heart-warming tale aimed at children aged five to nine presents an opportunity for children to learn how special they are; that they are worth more than anything in the world to their Moms.

Reviews
What a delightful children's book! It skillfully reminds the young child of the special place he or she holds in their mother's heart even before they are born. This is a prefect bedtime story to read to preschoolers in order to stress a mother's love and the preparedness that takes place long before their birth. The creativity and sense of anticipation for the arrival of a new baby as demonstrated in this book shows the special love and bond that exists between a mother and child.

This wonderful "love lesson" along with the colorful illustrations are sure to bring great pleasure to its young reading audience. Children's Author Sagit Cohen does a great job of both entertaining and educating children about the work and effort mothers make to ensure that they have a special place/room in the home that they can call their own long before they even enter into the world!

Israeli author Sagit Cohen has both a degree in Business Administration and in Human Resources but is following her passion for writing with the publication of children's books. She believes that given the right guidance, support and encouragement each of us can fulfill every dream we have. Her books radiate that philosophy. This is a new book about a subject all parents and grandparents face – the story of conception and birth. In Sagit’s hands the subject is handled beautifully. The excellent illustrations are by Mahfuja Selim.

In this very tender book Sagit explains pregnancy and how a mother creates from the moment of conception a special space for her coming child – taking care of her body and nutrition and doctor’s visits and planning the room that will be the new baby’s special space – and then the birth. ‘Your special space is a place where everything that happens is your choice. You decide what goes where, you decide how everything should be, and no one else, without your permission, should try to change anything inside this place. Before you were born your Mom created your special space, for you to have until you were old enough to prepare one yourself.
