The Veterans Brotherhood was started to prevent veteran suicides. Twenty veterans commit suicide every day. The Veterans Brotherhood is a first responder organization. We take veterans off the streets that have no one or nowhere to turn. They have no food, money or a place to stay. We pick them up when they are at their lowest.

We put them up in a hotel for a few days and evaluate them for the best place for their long-term care. In our first year, we took 18 veterans off the streets (2014). Some now have a vehicle, a job and are going to school.

The Veterans Brotherhood has four members that are certified veterans’ mentors. We work with veterans one on one. Many veterans would rather talk to another veteran than a therapist or psychiatrist who went to school but never experienced it.

This year so far, the Veterans Brotherhood has helped 36 veterans and veteran’s family members.

No one is paid in the Veterans Brotherhood, almost 100 percent of donations go directly to the veterans. We are a 501C3 nonprofit and have very little overhead. We do more with less than any other organization. Our only income is from donations from kind people who want to help veterans in the most cost-efficient and honest way possible. We receive no government funding because we all know what happens when the government gets involved.

There are many organizations that help veterans, but most take anywhere from three days to three weeks before they can help veterans because of all the paperwork. We pick them up immediately upon hearing from them or someone who referred them to us.

The Veterans Brotherhood is based out of Pennsburg, PA, but its meetings are held in Allentown, PA.

The Veterans Brotherhood has a strong core of members and board members and is rapidly growing. We are called upon for help from the Coatesville Multi Veterans Center, the Veterans Administration, Veterans Affairs in Montgomery, Bucks, Berks, Lehigh and Chester Counties.

The Veterans Brotherhood has a very strong reputation for being honest and helping veterans.

We at the Veterans Brotherhood would love to have your organization partner with us to help save veterans and veterans’ family members lives. For individuals that would like to donate please send your donation to the address above, you will receive a receipt.

Should you have any questions please feel free to call the above phone number.

Thank you!
