Daisy Poetry
by Kamaria T. Tucker and Christian Shields
Springtime is here, and what a better way to enjoy this
season than to read about flowers. The flower of choice is the daisy, known as
one of April's birth flowers. Even in mythology, the daisy has always been considered
a sacred flower. The daisy represents beauty, love, purity, and new beginnings.
What better way to bring in the spring and celebrate National Poetry Month.
Kamaria T. Tucker and Christian Shields collaborated on a
poetic anthology about this beautiful flower. This book includes photographs
taken of wild daisies along a roadside; The authors selected each picture to
best match the spirit of each poem. Come and join us on a poetic exploration as
we use our creativity to express our admiration of all things daisies.
