Milliron Monday: 50 Years

Abbott "Pete" Smith D.V.M.
June 16, 1938 - February 22, 2010
Welcome to Milliron Monday where every Monday we celebrate the legacy of Pete Smith, D.V.M., and  Milliron: Abbott “Pete” Smith, D.V.M. The Biography (Monday Creek Publishing 2017), including his wife Jody (1938-2021).

"To go back is impossible in existence. The river
needs to take the risk of entering the ocean
because only then will fear disappear.
Khalil Gibran

Fifty years ago today, on Monday, January 3, 1972, Jody wrote in her daily journal:

Cleaned house
Cleaned up old school desk for book display stand

Took pups down to clinic, had 3rd DHL shots

The day was probably like today, a normal day in January. If we could go back and visit with Jody, we would find her caring for her dogs, horses, and family. Fifty years ago. Seems like a long time, but Jody's words have not faded. Here's more...
