Welcome Guest Blogger, Jessica Barker ...
My
name is Jessica Barker, born 26th April 1980 in Chelmsford, Essex and I have a
sister Michaela Huntington (5 years younger). We were both Russell before
we married.
We had a fantastic childhood and became equestrians from a young age, growing up competing around the show Jumping circuit. Michaela still runs our family yard in Finchingfield, Essex where our parents live.
Show Jumping has taken us both all over the world competing in teams and to some amazing shows such as Hickstead, Olympia, Mechelen, HOYS and all of the national championships. I was lucky enough to have a great sponsor in The Temple Stud who sent me to train with Paul Barker in Yorkshire in 2002.
Paul Barker is son to David Barker whom competed in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, so a fantastic family to learn from. By mid 2003 I had moved in with Paul's brother Phillip Barker who used to ride but now mainly focuses on the family farm. I then took over the farm paperwork and got more involved in Phillip's business. We married in 2006 and following the barn conversion into Thief Hole Cottages, I gave up my love of Show Jumping. We now have two beautiful children Clara 7 and James 4 and are building two new cottages with a village Hall/Conference hall.
We use Premier Cottages as our best form of marketing and I am now on the board as their recruitment director.
Lately I have stumbled across Herbalife, an unbelievable way of life which is so healthy, nutritious and easy to follow with my busy lifestyle. It has completely change my perspective of marketing and made staying slim much more manageable as I do not have time for the gym or cooking nutritious meals daily.
Herbalife has been going since 1980 and is completely healthy for everyone. It has taught me to network market which I will be bringing to Thief Hole very soon. I am now a well established wellness coach and cannot recommend Herbalife enough to anyone who will listen......
