Naïve Heart

Crystal clear
eyes wide shut
a heart misplaced
in dense forest resides

Lost and afraid
uncertainties billowing
thickets shrouding
stuck and nonplussed

Snares embrace
soft and blue
release
a naïve heart

Deliver me now
drag me out
from the dense façade
shallow and dreamy

Dying each day
a thousand times
a heart misplaced
in dense forest resides
