February 1985
- to clinic, Tina Carmella (sp?) here, spayed Tina's Siamese cat; met Pat, Jessica at CJs for lunch, Mountain Leather, Trisolini Gallery (Tina drove) exhibit
- to clinic/barn > took dogs, went after newspaper -5 degrees > Unitarian Church, Dr. Kendall Lockwood, talk/slides/wolves/bats > Old Coach > to clinic > pretty ride in snow, took dogs, Pete saw turkey
- wagged dogs/ridge > to clinic > SCC, took Puff, ran errands, carried groceries uphill
- wagged > went into OU, Dr. Lockwood had left > took chainsaws to Logan, took Puff > to barn
- Pete, OU Inn breakfast, Dr. Zook, etc. > began taping records for Mom > heavy wet snow > wagged up to ridge and back > electricity off
- bad roads, snow emergency > Gordon, Dee here for lunch, stayed in clinic overnight > phones off at house
- wagged up to ridge, took dogs, beautiful heavy snow > Pete got water out of well in 2 milk cans in kitchen > to clinic/barn > E. Smith borrowed Scottie to bring dog in to be euthanized
- to clinic, ran errands, got groceries, locked dog in pickup > Gordon brought me in > electricity back on
- to clinic/barn > saw 2 black dogs running deer in hay meadow again > Pete cut tops out of trees for Pat's firewood, saw flying squirrel > flute/harpsichord concert
- up at 6 am > Pete went jogging, took Ruff, Colonel > I took Puff, looked for dog, deer tracks in hay meadow > to church, nice quartet Handel > lunch Old Coach Inn > Shirley S., Dave Crippen and daughter, Julie, MItzi - rode Alrod; J, Pete, me, brought heifer cows back to clinic from Nadroski pasture, Lucas' helped, we brought 2 through woods, Badge came back to barn by himself, rode up ridge, checked snares > dinner, Rax, took Dave Crippen, etc., OU Wind Ensemble Mem Aud
- to clinic > took Streak, Colonel for walk > to barn > worked at desk, wrote Mom/Dad letter
- wagged, reset snares pulled down by ice > Pete, to Sams > to movies "Mischief" filmed in Nelsonville
- to clinic/barn > Ash Wednesday service > got Urantia book for Gary, Aggie > went back to church for picture for church directory
- checked, pulled snares > to Mansfield, to Gary/dental work > Pete vasectomy - late appointment, I went to library > Pete met me at movie "The Falcon and the Snowman" - interesting
- fed hay at barn, packed, to clinic > ate lunch at Perkin's w Darlene, Charles Smith > State meeting, ate at Schmidt's
- prayer breakfast, seminars, luncheon, Roger ?, meetings > fed hay at barn
- to clinic/barn > fell asleep at table > Pete jogged
- Pete breakfast, OU Inn > worked at desk briefly > to court, bad checks > fed at barn > Pete to Sam's
- wagged, gook Puff, Colonel, Streak, went up 2nd ravine to ledge over stream > put out salt/minerals, took Sissy, Bullet for a walk > Pete to Sam's > to movie
