A graduate of Colorado State University and a well-known veterinarian in southeast, Ohio, Dr. Smith continues to motivate and inspire.
The painting above is a (partial) photo of the mural at (the former) Milliron Clinic. The mural covers the floor to ceiling entry hall - once greeting clients into the reception area, now quietly remembering the past.
This Christmas, we are thankful for veterinarians and those who work diligently to keep our pets healthy. We celebrate the long hours of farm vets who are on call day and night. Thanks, too, to our farriers and trainers, as they work hard to keep us in the saddle.

Where is Christmas? I believe that Dr. Smith would say to find Christmas in a quiet place where kindness rules and simplicity is everything. Find Christmas with your family, friends; those you love and who love you.
For me, Christmas is everyday - in the eyes of my mare, the purr of my cat, and a walk to the barn through the morning frost. We truly wish you a Merry Christmas. Enjoy the journey to the New Year!
