Grace

He stomps a leg, feeling
The wind

It’s all coming off, it’s
Leaving again
Itchy, scratchy, pulling
And tug
Finding a post, rubbing
The rump
Dangling, puffy, dangling
Some more
How much can a
Body endure?

Finally, relief, it begins
To undo

And gently releases to
Curry’s pull
But, some linger – there
You know
The place; deep recess where
Hair shouldn’t
Grow…

Clippers it is! Total release!
Winter over

Shedding takes grace
