Welcome to Milliron Monday where every Monday we celebrate
the legacy of Milliron Farm and Clinic,
Dr. Pete and Jody Smith.

In March of 2025, I wrote that there was a three‑year gap in Jody’s Journals. I searched everywhere, convinced the journals had been misplaced. Then earlier this week, while reorganizing my office, they surfaced at last, tucked beneath a stack of Milliron anecdotes and an old client list. Whew! One of my skills is organization. Finding the journals is a relief. They weren't misplaced, just hidden under (more) Milliron papers.

Last week, I shared Jody’s Journals from June–July 1987, the final entries of that year. This week, we return to 1977—one of the foundational years of Jody’s story, newly restored to us.
