Dr. Pete and Jody Smith.

October 1985
  • to clinic, ran errands, tea/Townhouse with M. Jenkins > Dave Smart, haircut > ate at CJs, Sam and Ellen Jones
  • to clinic/barn > got box trap > Ed Payne/Richard Syracuse recital - excellent
  • Song died > up at 6:30 > left box trap at garage for Gordon to repair > left for KVMA meeting, Tammy's van, Robin, Karen, toured Horse Park, 2 vet clinics, Ramada Inn, Louisville
  • KVMA meetings, banquet, Baxter Black
  • KVMA meetings, stopped at equine surgery, medicine units, Lexington
  • Pete, WOUB > fed rabbits, fed at barn > paid bills, did call backs at clinic
  • to clinic > tied beef bone in box traps, fed at barn
  • to church, late > puttered around barn, rode Junie, short ride, took Colonel, Puff; Pete rode Apple, long ride to Dow Lake trails
  • to clinic/barn > Ron Muhn here, dryer, very frustrating > worked at desk briefly > ran errands > Pete on calls
  • to Charleston with Pete on calls, Nancy Bonnett's
  • to clinic/barn, I came back up, made yogurt for horse
  • to clinic/barn, Pete on calls
  • to church, brunch for Newcomers > made yogurt for clinic, got horses in, 2 trips to hay meadow shed > Pete shot crippled lamb > rode, took Streak, Colonel; got Puff for short ride on bottom > read, wrote letters
  • worked Colonel, ran errands > Pete horse surgeries > Pete to Sam's Gym
  • met Jessica at Russell's, QH Congress, watched Joleen show > to clinic
  • to clinic > obedience drill, Jill Douglas, worked with Colonel > to barn > to CJs, Ann/Jerry, Maynard Ferguson concert, too loud, sat outside some
  • to church > Pete ate at PJs, I just drank water > Pete rode in rain > 7:00 lasagna dinner, Pat's, getting married June 21st
  • to clinic/barn > dewormed sheep, goat, ivermectin, ran errands
  • to clinic > Pete AET meeting, Louisville, I went to North Carolina, took Puff, Colonel, left 2 PM, got there 9:30 PM
  • stopped to see friends of Mom's, walked dogs on golf course, watched TV
  • Senior Citizens, shopped, stopped at vets, bookkeeping, drugs, heartworm, etc.,; met Sue Bensen at movie "Agnes of God" - well done
  • drove home > to clinic briefly, fed at barn > hayride, party at Glenn/Bonnie Lackey's > Ron from Hudson Valley went with us (waiting for horse to wake up)
  • to church > to clinic, went after Marshall's dog, Bonnett's here, rode 4-wheeler with Jimmy to get horses, hitched Junie for Jamie, then Nancy rode in cart, Jimmy rode Alrod; ate at steakhouse, to movies (Pete and me)
  • to clinic/barn > Pete dug out spring, I cut grape vines off pine trees; Gordon cemented step/ new pipe > Pete to Sam's Gym 
  • to clinic/barn > Junie/Apple at Windy Hills, brought them back, put them in hay meadow > to clinic, ran errands > Pete bank loan application > talked to Judge Bennett, commissioner Dean K. re dog problems, deer hunting > Pete to Sam's Gym
